Research On The Strategies For Building Learning Schools

Based on the anlaysis and summarize of the ideas nd characteristics of learning schools, together with the author's practice in admininstration of education, this thesis discusses the stretegies of building learning schools, aiming at looking for some concrete practical methods.The first section of this paper, which is the background and the basis of the paper subject, briefly reviews the differences between learning schools and traditional schools and discusses the ideas and characteristics of learning schools. The second section of the paper is the core as well as the main contribution of the paper. They are about conducting a self-assesssment, building a shared vision, changing the organizational structure, achieving genuine learning as well as innovating school culture, in which conducting a self-assessment is the precondition, building a shared vision is the cornerstone, changing the oragnizational structure is the difficult point, achieving genuine learning is the aim and innovating school culture is the key. The third section of the paper talks about the principal's position and leadership in the process of building a learning shool.
