Tele-collaborative learning has made its efforts in promoting of e-learning and arising of students' capacity in application of IT.This research is based on the second cooperative project taken by the National Center for Educational Technology of China and the WORLDLINKS organization in US. The title of the project is "Tele-Collaborative Learning" for "Integrating of IT with Curriculum". The research is focused on subjects' choice and activities design for tele-collaborative learning taken by elementary schools. The main research issues are subject's analysis, participation and enthusiasm of students in tele-collaborative learning and their expectation for it, and activities types and designing. The finding has showed that the choice of subjects for tele-collaborative learning should be based on cognitive level of students at year 4 and 5 in elementary schools. In addition, it is important that special consideration should be given to students' interests and the relevance to their real life, and the feasibility in operation and organization in choosing and designing of subjects and activities. when we design what types of activities need according to the subject, on-line communication, the material collection and processing, local investigates, the experience exchange, these four kinds of basic form of activities are necessary, in addition, considering subject own characteristic and need, we also can choose other nine kinds of types of the activities, Such as expert instructions, composition competition, observation, discussing face to face and so on.
