A Study Of New Teenage Filial Piety Education

In the 21^st century, met with the dominant western culture, ethics and morality of Chinese families have fallen into crisis. Importance hasn't been attached to teenage filial piety education in schools, families and society. It is a universally recognized fact that teenagers lack filial love for and devotion to their parents. With the rapid development of our era and society, Chinese traditional culture has exposed its historical limitations, part of which has fallen short of the theme of times. To advocate the new filial piety education conforms to the reality in China and is also of important task in implementing quality-oriented education so as to keep our unique national cultural character and construct the modern culture with native characteristics. "Filial piety" is human moral baseline and new filial piety education is a systematic project concerning the whole society. This paper discusses in theory the content, nature and significance of new filial piety and analyses the problems and its causes in Teenage filial piety with ideas of quality-oriented education and new curriculum reform in Middle School Education as its foundation and guidance and previous relevant production on the study of filial piety education as reference. According to the general education idea of "everything is prepared for me", this paper illustrates various approaches of new filial piety education to teenagers in the aspects of society, family and school.
