Purpose: Rowing is an event with endurance and period. During the long term rowing training, how to assess training content and training effects effectively is the topic which urgently waited to be solved. Currently, domestic and foreign periodic training what emphasis point is different: some study from the training load and cycle, some study from the training model, also some study from the heart rate. In order to evaluate the character of big entire training and rowing training effects, the paper through testing ergometer power, lactic acid threshold power (AT4) and biochemistry to study the training character of evaluation indices of Hubei province open-men rowing team which will participate the tenth national game, and dividing the entire year into three cycles to carry on the synthesis evaluation. Methods: We assess Hubei province open-men rowing team which will participate the tenth national game, and analysis of indices in the first week, fiftieth week, twenty-third week and thirty-seventh week. Results: (1) in the entire year training period, Hubei province open-men rower'anaerobic ability enhance remarkably. (2) When enhance exercise load, BU index drop remarkably, at the same time, CK rise remarkably. Through entire year training, Hb still maintaining the normal value scope when period in big intensity, and compared with the winter training, BU and CK display the effects of adapting the big exercise load. In the ergometer 2000m, lactate rises from 9.52±1.73mmol/L to 12.34±2.36mmol/L. (3) AT4 enhance progressively in the first training period. In the entire year period ,AT4 lasted rising, the percentage of lactic acid threshold fell firstly and tended to the platform condition, but the major factors what affected its change were training quantity and intensity.
