Futsal (five-a-side-soccer) started in the Scandinavian peninsula of northern Europe and was popular in the Occident in the 1970s. It became the Federation International de Football Association (FIFA) official game in the late 1980s. Now this sport has a good basis to develop all over the world. In 1989, Holland held the first futsal world cup of FIFA. The world cup has been held five times, once every three years. Asia Football Committee (AFC) also held the futsal tournament. Today, this sport is popular all over the world. Futsal is a very important part of world soccer. The rules of this game have over 20 years of history, and are maturing every year. It has been developed very well in Latin America, especially in Brazil. There are a lot of great soccer stars that have played futsal before and get incredible skills from the game, such as Brazilian soccer stars Bailey, Jike, Socrates, Bebeto and Ronaldinho. In Brazil and Spain, players are starting to play futsal at seven or eight years old. When they're sixteen or seventeen years old, they're starting to play professional league. To join the game, to entertain, to improve physical make-up, and to improve sports skills are the main direction of Shanghai's civil soccer sports.Futsal is an indispensable component of the all-civil body-improvement movement. It doesn't need a huge space and a very nice court to play, so it's much easier to play and publicize to society. In comparison with eleven-a-side-soccer, more goals in one game definitely induce entertainment. On the smaller court, this game needs players who have the ability to control the ball and who are able to react very quickly, which adds more fun to the viewing. Also, this is very important for training players to have basic ball-controlling capability. The function is irreplaceable. The results of Chinese futsal international competition is on the lowest level though China has over 20 years recorded history of futsal. Even today, there isn't any Chinese national player or professional club player who has played futsal before. In Europe and South America, some clubs were successful in creating futsal as the...
