The Study On Status And Development Of Basketball Team In Colleges Of Hubei

Basketball, a hundred year old game after its birth in 1891, enjoys its popularity in the whole world and still keeps its strong vitality. Basketball originates in schools, is deep rooted in schools and especially attracts larger amount of players in universities.To enhance the development of basketball game in general universities in Hubei, more research on scientific theories and the utilizing of those theories should be done. Thus, the further development of basketball game among university students can be guaranteed. Expert interview, literature review, data analysis, questionnaire, mathematical statistics and other research methods are used in this paper to analyze the current situation and existing problems of general university (in Hubei) students'interests, teaching faculty, teaching situation, filed and equipment, matches, after class training, advanced basketball team and students'basketball organizations. Corresponding measures are also suggested in this paper. It is hoped that this paper can offer useful reference for the development and policy making of basketball teams'development in general universities in Hubei.
