The policy of reform and opening up brings to China not only an ever-increasing economy and a pivotal world position, but also an international environment full of challenges and competition. At the same time, the persistent heating of Chinese Language, the internationalization of Chinese higher education, the expansion of the affairs of overseas Chinese and the United Front work all call for more attention to the educational management of overseas students of Chinese origin. In conclusion, the educational management work of overseas students of Chinese origin plays an important role in the promotion of overseas Chinese education, cultivation of the Chinese complex of overseas students of Chinese origin and development of the United Frond and overseas Chinese resources.This paper consists of three chapters.The first chapter elaborates present conditions of overseas Chinese education and overseas students of Chinese origin studying in China, which provide a realistic basis for the framework of the paper. Based on the reference materials, the paper selects 16 countries, the United States, Britain, Australia, Japan and Malaysia as the representative of North America, Europe, Oceania, East Asia and Southeast Asia, elaborates the situation of Overseas Chinese Education, lists the relevant data of the 56 years overseas students education history of China to analyze the condition and main types of the overseas students of Chinese origin.;The second chapter makes an empirical research with Huaqiao University as an example. It makes an comparison and contrast of overseas students of Chinese origin from the perspective of political identification, traditional culture recognition and studying adjustability, analyzes the content of ideological education of overseas students of Chinese origin from six angles of theory, practice and psychology and puts forward formal analysis from five different perspective according to the problems caused by the organization structure and policy orientation in the institutions of higher education.Based on the previous empirical research, the third chapter puts forward the idea that an efficient management mode of overseas students of Chinese origin depends on several important points: the first is to foster the value of people-first and create a working frame of overseas students of Chinese origin; secondly, to make clear the educational goal and perfect the training mechanism; thirdly, to integrate educational forms and develop a comprehensive ideological education system; fourthly, to implement scientific management and build a keen-witted and capable working group.The significance of the research on the educational management of overseas students of Chinese origin studying in China is more than investigating and improving the educational management of overseas students, the point is to grasp the opportunity to promote the Chinese language, enhance Chinese education, stress national awareness, preserve and spread traditional Chinese culture. More importantly, it helps to implement"go abroad"strategy of Chinese culture, strengthen the national and cultural identification of overseas Chinese, improve their awareness that they of the same cultural origin with Chinese and create new opportunity to reinforce cohesive affinity of the Chinese people, which is an unshakable duty of the education of overseas students of Chinese origin studying at the institutions of higher education in China.
