New curriculum standards embodied in people-oriented, Concerned with the psychological characteristics of students'age and the level of development. To better service for the new round of curriculum reform, we need to study cognitive development of students, especially for the study of basic scientific concepts.Scientific concepts is the cornerstone of the building of scientific knowledge, this is also an important part of educational psychology study. The study of pupil'cognitive development should begin understanding the concept of basic science. Scientific concepts in the minds of children are how to generate and develop? This has been keen to explore by teachers and education researchers. It is that the studies are broader in other countries than china. Almost every concept they are the object of study, but in china it is relative lack of research in this area. In recent years, research in this area heat up, this makes science education curriculum reform vitality. Through research on Basic scientific concepts of students, we can know when some students learn science concepts is more appropriate, when we teach students the scientific concept, we can start from the level of existing cognitive of students. Enable them happy, because to pick fruit after jumping a small step. Thus it enables them to get out of their predicament that they can not pick the fruit through several hopping.Pressure concept is an important scientific concept to students in secondary school, to prove up primary and secondary students'level of cognitive development on understanding of Pressure concept. This paper is base on The Principles of Genetic Epistemology, through careful design of the interview tool and questionnaire, using the method of clinic interview, the number of the interviewee is 92, they are from Grade 6 to Grade 8, and don't study the conception of Pressure. According to students task performance in pressure sequence, I have found that the pupil'pressure concept of cognitive development exists three levels : only recognize one of the two extensive quantities,Force or Area affected by the force; Can consider the two extensive quantities that compose pressure concept, but lack both coordination; Not only consider the two extensive quantities that compose pressure concept, but also coordinate them at the same time, at last can make them quantify and seek results that Force is divided by the Area. Form a complete understanding of the concept of pressure structure.Level 1 is the largest number of students that is 46. They accounted for half the number of tests. With students'age constantly increasing, the number of students is declining. They consider that Pressure is decided by the gravitation of objects. At this moment, they are still not subject to the concept of the Area, Can not correctly understand the concept of Pressure.
