Student burnout is a negative affect, attitude and behaviour symptom under excess stress in process of studying. Based on test oriention stain relieving consultation, and an oppenning questionnaire survey, as well as the reference on literatures of relative research area, this research was conducted. After the content analysis, a questionnaire of high school student' burnout has been established. Four key elements of High School Student' burnout (HSSB), namely, emotional exhaustion, reduced learning efficacy, alience to teacher and physical exhaustion were abstracted by exploration factor analysis. The quadri-dimensional construct of high school student' burnout has been formed initially. With the composite sample (unban high school, rural high school and private high school) as calibration sample, the results of CFA illustrate that the four-factor oblique theorical structure model fits better with the actual measurement model than other three assumed models, and it proves emotional exhaustion, learning efficacy, alience to teacher and physical exhaustion belong to student' burnout, and they represent the different aspects of burnout. Meanwhile, The HSSB shows good benign homogeneity validity.Furthermore, the dimensional structure of The High School Student' burnout (HSSB) was investigated using data collected from three samples of various high school types, respectively. Single group confirmatory factor analysis corroborated the hypothesized four-factor model for the three independent samples. The results of testing of psychometrics indicate that four subscale's homogeneity reliability is from 0.68 to 0.89, and significant correlations are found between subscales. The correlation coefficients between items and factors all above 0.30. Subsequent multi-group analysis strongly supported the soundness of the factorial structure of the instrument, and the result revealed that facor parameters of the HSSB are partiall invariant across three samples.A MANOVA of all four scales scores indicated that levels of burnout differed significantly among the three student groups. What's more, as regarding the...
