A Study On The Evaluation Of Core Competence Of University Based On Extensive Financial Strategy Theory

The main task of this dissertation is to study the evaluation of core competence of the research universities from the view of extensive financial strategy theory. For clarifying this problem, based on the logic relationship between core competence of university and sustainable competition advantage, the connotation of core competence of university is proposed from both "resource view" and "strategy view" and the conceptual framework of core competence of university is perfected. Moreover, a systemic study of core competence of university is given, the evaluation ratios system of the core competence of the research universities is constructed, and the evaluation on the core competence of the research universities is done.This dissertation has six chapters. In first chapter, based on the analysis of current instance, the essentiality of choosing extensive financial strategy angle is showed. In second chapter, for selecting study view and methods, the author reviews the evolution on the core competence of university and summarizes literatures on university evaluation inside and outside. Then, in third chapter, the author classifies university as the basis in this dissertation, meanwhile defining research universities as study objects, moreover expatiating extensive financial strategy theory and meaning of core competence of university, constructing the framework of the core competence of research universities. In fourth chapter, according to practice circs in our country, the author establishes the evaluation ratios system and uses entropy weighting method to fix rights on every index. In fifth chapter, the author introduces the grey system theory briefly, and evaluates the core competence of research universities using grey relational analysis, moreover compared with those former did and analyzes the reasons on existing differences. At last, the author summarizes all study, and puts forward developing advices, prospecting the study directions from now on.
