The Research On International Competitiveness Of Our Country's Education Service Trade

As we know, the development of high education have improved greatly both in scale and quality after entering to WTO. High education, as a department of innovating knowledge and cultivating advanced professional talents, has diverse functions of economy, politics, and society. The property of Industrial Development, with high value, is increasingly emphasized by the government, society and market. Because the education service trade of China starts relatively late, the competitiveness is lower when compared to the western countries. Moreover, there is little theoretical study on education service in our country. Under such a background, the study on education service trade seems very necessary.Educational service trade is a comprehensive proposition and involved the multi-subject of trade, education and economy. In order to promoting educational competitiveness of our country, this text describe the development of educational service trade of our country in WTO context. Using the theory of educating-contrast and economics of education. Adopting comparative analysis and the game analytical method.The article analyzed on the basic side of educational service trade at first. Introducing the educational service trade rules and china's opening commitment to WTO .Analyzing the educational service trade current situation of our country and comparative advantage of our country. Then discuss the development of service trade deeply.We can draw a conclusion from analysis that the development of our country's education service is behind the western countries, and we don't have competitive advantages in the international educational market. If our country wants to fight for one seat in the international education service market, the only method is to promote the international competitiveness of the education service trade. So in the third part of the thesis, I'll propose improving the international competitiveness of the education service trade with the point of view based on industry. Using "diamond model" of Potter, analyze 4 factors of promoting the International competitiveness of education service, and put forward some concrete measures to improve it. We hope that it can contribute to the development of education service trade in our country.
