As we all know, mathematics is playing a more and more important role in the society now. Its influence nearly involutes in every domain of human society, which causes the higher demands of the citizen. But the actual condition of middle school's mathematics study is that, more and more students are bored and frightened to mathematics. A substantial number of students have lost there confidence and even have given up the mathematics study.In mathematics study, understanding is the most important undoubted. The students usually have two kinds of different understanding patterns in the mathematics study that is the utilizable understanding and the relational understanding. We usually pay much attention to the former in the teaching practice, whereas what we hope the student to obtain is the latter. Why. What can it be like that is helpful to promote the students to gain full understanding in the teaching of mathematics.The understanding holds an important status in mathematics study; therefore mathematical understanding deviation is one of the important barriers for students to learn the subject. Without paying great attention to the students' understanding intention and their cognitive level, we cannot help the students to overcome the barrier. In mathematics teaching, we may create an appropriate and interesting teaching situation, help the student to produce correct ways of mathematics representation and pay attention to the exchanges to remove the understanding deviation.According to different causes of students' mathematical understanding deviation, the author has proposed some transformative strategies: pay attention to transferring the student's activities; promote cooperative study; display the superiority of collective education by setting the transformative work in the collective. They are good for the transformation of the students who are weak at mathematics.
