The human beings have already stepped into the 21st century, which is an age of knowledge economy. The significance of the teacher's role is more and more outstanding although the development of the education has shown the trend of the diversity. How to throb with the pulse of our times to have the thorough self-respect and know the historical duty that we are undertaking; how to make continual conversion on the concept of education, enrich knowledge and improve the ability of educating and teaching in practice to foster much more excellent creative talented people; as Chinese teachers in middle school, the above are the questions that everyone of us should think deeply.The essay does not focus on exaggerating Chinese teacher's role and significance because there are so many kinds of factors that influence the reform of Chinese education. However, the development of the society puts forword higher requirements on the Chinese teacher's. Therefore, the essay, which is based on the reality of the teachers, states how the middle school Chinese teachers can reshape self-image and be the vital new force on the reform of Chinese education, but not the restrictive factors for it.
