What's interest? It's something that can make you willingly draw much attention to what you do; it's something that can bring you much joy and excitement; it's something that has the magical power to get you into energetic and vital actions; it's something that may lead you to greater success. Obviously, it is very important. However, not every individual has some interest in some subject; interests of people are different from each other. Unfortunately, many people have some unnecessary interests, i.e. no interests in our job, study, even life. Fortunately, interest is something that can be developed and cultivated. Many researchers have been probed into its nature and characteristics, especially how to develop and cultivate the interests of those senior students who lag behind others in learning English. That's just what I'm trying to find out here. This thesis is attempting to expound on the ways of cultivating the interests of those senior students who lag behind others in learning English, and will focus on the following research questions:1. Why is it so urgent to develop and cultivate the interests of learning English well?2. How to develop and cultivate the interests? In fact, the topic about study interests has been the concern of many researchers. And it's most difficult to find efficient ways to develop and cultivate the interests for those students who has experienced much failure or even pain. Approaches are more than the following:1. Divide the students into different classes or groups.2. Treat the students equally and affectionately, or rather, treat them not only as your students but also as your friends or even your own children. Never look down upon them!...
