With promotion of concepts of formative evaluation and under-emphasis the role of distinguishing between good or bad students, new curriculum reform is expected to facilitate student sustainable progress by means of improving its incentive function. The second Shanghai curriculum reform saw shift of emphasis from knowledge's development to student's comprehensive diathesis improvement, from single cognitive area to the combined pursuit of cognition and affection. Though clearly specify the cultivated objects in the area of emotions, attitudes , values, the Secondary Student's Life Science Curriculum Standard of Shanghai Municipal (trial form ) is in the need of effective assessment. Therefore , it's practically important and real urgent for earlier construction of biology evaluation framework .consisting of emotions, attitudes, values.With reference of literature analysis , research findings and empirical lessons in the areas of affective assessment home and abroad , and also on the foundation of theoretical analysis for Life Science (second round reformed biological curriculum for high middle school student), the author attempts to construct evaluation system of emotions, attitudes , values in biology subject by analysis of seven aspects: life consciousness , emotions, attitudes , values in STS , sense of social responsibility and mission , aesthetic consciousness, value of harmonious co-existence with nature and concept of sustainable development, emotions, attitudes , values' attainment level in biology scientific literacy and interest level in biology as well.The samples in this study are from: two classes students (grade 2) from one key high-middle school directly under the government of education department) , two classes students from two key high school ,two normal high school ,two least level high school respectively , altogether 13 classes from seven schools .
