Nowadays information accomplishment plays an essential part in a person's quality, and also assures one's living. The outline issued in 2000 shows we should train students with better information accomplishment and apply it to students'life-long and cooperative study. As a result, they can prepare for the future and adjust to their study, working and life of the information world.During the senior middle school, counting and program design are the first pattern. In traditional teaching, students acquire knowledge in the order of the sentence, form and function. Afterwards the program is designed, which, in a way, has an effect on students'motivation and their marks. Based on the theory of teaching design, this text mainly carries out the researches on practice and application of the duty-driving methods in program design of visual basic. The text first states the flaws in conditional teaching methods, then reasons of the choice of the duty-driving teaching method and the main content including the analysis of teaching purpose, learning content, the learner's response, the teaching strategies and the ways of learning evaluation. The theories applied in this teaching design are from the theory of organizing pioneer; Bloom's grasping the meaning of informational materials and the situational teaching in constructivism.Through teaching practice this research has proved that the duty-driving method plays an important role in the program design of Visual Basic and the students can achieve a lot in skill development by cooperating in learning.
