In the trend of quality education, Chinese teaching in middle schools becomes the focus concerned by personages of various circles. However, composition teaching is the heart of it. It is a fact that the writing level of middle students is very low and composition teaching is worse. How can we extricate ourselves from the difficult position? How can we come out of all-time low? The composition teaching stands disorderly in middle school Chinese circles because we are in want of scientific theoretical guide about writing. Where can we find such scientific theoretical guide about writing? China is a big country of compositions and theoretical study about writing. Over the past thousands of years, many Chinese thinkers, writers and poets have accumulated a wealth of experience in the long-lasting writing practice, and concluded their experience into a writing theory. It is a valuable heritage of writing theory. Such a theory concluded from the practice plays an enlightening and useful role in the middle school students' writing. According to the fact of the middle school students' writing, we reorganize Chinese ancient writing theories. Firstly, we proceed from the main part of writing to develop and improve all kinds of abilities of the middle school students in studying Chinese ancient writing theories, such as collecting,imaginary, thinking and expressive abilities. There are four main parts including life accomplishment, knowledge accomplishment, thinking accomplishment and aesthetic accomplishment. Secondly, according to the real situation of middle students writing process, we systematize knowledge and skills of selecting suitable materials and finding exact meanings, thinking and planning compositions, language and expression, draft and check from ancient writing theories. Finally, we put right the statement about flagging types of writing using writing knowledge about types from ancient writing theories and forms of expression.
