Developing Psychological Health Education In The Secondary School

How to develop students' psychological health education is a heated topic in the society. Nowadays the content of psychological health education has been added to the Political Course of Junior One in the secondary school , which plays an important role in students' psychology. Otherwise, it will result in serious consequences. As we know, psychological health education is a long-term work and it is impossible to be solved in a short time. With their special life circumstance and study experiences, the students in the secondary school are faced with the challenge from the society much more earlier than the average middle school students, which will produce a lot of new changes on their psychology development. Therefore they have a more urgent need for psychological health education. Based on the combination of the experience in educating my own students and the basic theories that I have learned in the MA courses, in this article I try to study why should the psychological health education be reinforced to the Secondary School and how should it be developed in the political courses .The article is divided into two parts. The first part talks about the necessities of developing psychological education. Due to the differences between the secondary students and the average students, the article discusses the point from four aspects. 1. the training ofpsychological qualities in secondary school students 2. the characteristics of the secondary school 3. the psychological development of the secondary school students 4. the students needs for the political coursedThe second part is mainly about how to integrate the political courses with the psychological health education. In this part based on the practice, the author talk about five points. 1. to build up a scientific psychological health concept. 2. to build up the harmonious teacher-and student relationship. 3. to find out the educational factors of the psychological health education. 4. to promote the teaching method and put the psychological health education in the political courses. 5. to improve the teachers' psychological qualities.In short, to integrate the psychological health education and the political courses will not only suit the need of the perfect psychological qualities but also be a kind of attempt of the political courses reformation.
