According to the researches of principles concerning multiple intelligence .Constructivism and humanistic psychology of the students ,which get us to realize that students individualities and differences hare been overlooked in our former traditional evaluation system, resulting in too much attention has been attached to final performance and scores for the students. In fact, there is a need for the teachers to focus on the learning process of students and reevaluate their performance from a new prospective rather than from mere learning results. It is possible and potential for the teachers to promote the students' learning evaluation method. Aiming at difficulties and passive motivations for students in math learning. Questionnaires hare been conducted to investigate and analyze. The survey shows that there are many disadvantageous factors of math teaching and evaluation method, especially the traditional teaching evaluation greatly dampens the students' math learning enthusiasm and confidence, in secondary vocational school. Consequently, we start to establish records of Math learning for students, namely portfolio evaluation. New evaluation standards have been worked out and demonstration researches have been carried out. Portfolio evaluation methods prove to efficiently inspire students' interests in studying Math as well as to promote cooperation among students, with enhancement of their confidence in studying Math. In addition, students' motivation and learning methods have been improved. Students are encouraged to be responsible, critical learners; communication between students and students has enormously built up. In conclusion, portfolio evaluation methods applied in Math teaching in vocational secondary school is a question worth of research and practice.
