Soltis.J.F.has said:"how do we think knowledge for sure affects how do we think education to a great extent".However,the complex relation between knowledge and education has been simplified and linearized in modem technical and vocational education.Therefore,we should reflect the knowledge opinion and the way to transfer knowledge in order to train student effectively.After shifting my specialty from education to technical and vocational education,based on the reading of educational history,reflection of educational theory and experience of educational practice,I produce some questions.Has the real-drive technical and vocational education existed?What the problems with the current technical and vocational education?What the direction we should work for so that our thoughts and actions are consistent with civilization and the demands of our times?What kinds of work should we do?How do we assure our work is moving forward to the "ideal technical and vocational education"?Technical and vocational education is a social,historical and cultural phenomenon.That means our cognition of it must have the nature of understanding.We gain the meaning of vocational education in understanding or through understanding.This dissertation is based on the approach of post-modern critical philosophy and personal knowledge,stives to penetrate phenomena of technical and vocational education,reveals the survival condition of technical and vocational education under the "emotion"of Chinese and indicates the people's social understanding and cognition of technical and vocational education under the unique China culture-institution background.The notion that sustain the common people's educational behavior is the "meaning of technical and vocational education" which hided in human subconsciousness because the educational theory stands high above the masses.I believe there is a real educational state behind the daily various kinds of phenomena of technical and vocational education.This real educational state is the root of technical and vocational education in human society and provides essential foundation for the existence and development of technical and vocational education.However practical technical and vocational education is sometimes been distorted because of the restriction of practical forces.This condition obscures the real educational state and harms the essential value of technical and vocational education.Practical school is restricted by kinds of structural forces and those forces makes the reality of the school.Faced with this fact,we sometimes may feel pessimist and fated.But all of those forces are not out of people and their function can't be exerted without people's active consciousness and participation.In this process,people is active actor all the time and people's behavior is always directed by some kinds of value.part I :The dissertation explains the reasons why the values of the technical and vocational education are lack.It begins with the value equality and substitution of the knowledge.At the point of the value utility of the knowledge,how to integrate the technique and vocational knowledge in the technical and vocational education with the academic and official knowledge in the general education effectively;At the point of the equality and substitution of the knowledge,how to link with the two different types of...
