Classification, which is defined as grouping something that has common attribute or characteristic into one category, is a certain method which people use to organize and develop the knowledge and experience. The classification ablilities can help the children who initially know the world to form and consolidate concept better and to promote the children's cognition development. Classification is the important content of kindergarten curriculums. However, in the sight of documental summarize and the study of present situation, the research and instruction of classification exists some problems, just as deviating from the children's experience and neglecting the context of children's learning. The study attempts to probe the solution of these problems from the perspective of ecological and constructive educational concept.The study close the children of 4 to 5 years old (30 in all) and their teachers in the middle class in a certain kindergarten in Shang Hai as the main study subjects, and perform the process of study in the way of combining the quality and quantity. It researched into the educational present situation and analyzed its reason through the questionnaires, investigations, interviews, educational experiments, educational cases, etc. Under the instruction of the perspective of ecological and constructive educational concept, the study tries to explore the pertinent instruction strategies. Finally, it examined the validity of the research by the educational experiments once again.
