The Research On The Function Of Chemical Symbol In The Middle School Students' Chemical Problem-solving

Problem-solving is the simplest form of human thinking and the basic mode of acclimation and resolving various problems in humans'survival and development. Ability of problem solving is important obviously. One of the primary aims of schooling is training the students to resolve subject problems and subject-concerned living practical problems, by which the students can acquire current ability and knowledge of problem solving. It is very significative to study the factors that affect the students'problem solving, by which we can bring forward some strategies to improve the ability of the students'problem solving.From the points of views of many psychologists', the theoretic of universal problem-solving should be combined with certain subject, by which we may study problem solving with the characteristic of certain subject. Chemical symbol is basic feature of chemistry and the tool of chemistry-studying and scientific thinking. Therefore chemical symbol must play an important role in students'chemical problem-solving.On the basic of current research, my thesis has researched the functions how chemical symbol does in the numbers students'chemical problem -solving. This thesis have defined chemical symbol in the view of semeiology and discussed the sorts, properties and functions of chemical symbol in chemical studying.
