With the further reform of basic education curricula , senior high school new chemistry course keeps changing. The core of curriculum reform is teaching reform. Now that new chemistry course has changed rapidly in education ideology, content, edition, teaching method and so on. As teachers, we have to and must know how to teach accordingly. This article is divided into four sections: Chapter One :Discussion about the history and current situation of topic research ; Chapter Two : Theory on teaching strategy; Chapter Three : The strategy of chemistry teaching preparation under new curriculum standard ; Chapter Four: The strategy of chemistry teaching operation under new curriculum standard.In this article, the author briefly introduces the basic ideologies of the course as well as the required modulation of education concept by analyzing the prime principles in making and selecting teaching strategies. Then, the article, based on the study of senior high school chemistry teaching practice, discusses the teaching strategies which can be used accordingly in teaching from two aspects: teaching preparation, teaching operation. Teaching preparation is discussed from three aspects: teaching design, processing of the teaching material and exploration of the teaching contents. Strategies on teaching operation include inquiry teaching, learner autonomy and a thorough teaching plan for a teaching period.
