The Investigation Of Vocational College School Violence In Yantai District

Currently, campus violence has become the main threat to the campus security.The problem of the vocational college campus violence is more serious because theintegrated qualities of the students in the vocational colleges are lower than in othertypes of schools. At present, there are few articles about the vocational collegecampus violence. The investigation of campus violence is in the preliminary stage.The way of dealing with the campus is an important perspective to study campusviolence. The misconduct will directly lead to the escalation of violence or injury oncampus. In order to solve the problem of the vocational college campus violenceefficiently, a questionnaire was performed in three vocational colleges in YantaiDistrict. Questionnaire campus violence involved the "overall situation", " sexcharacter" and "grade character" of campus violence and "violence groups and groupfight phenomenon", " understanding the role of violence to the students", "schoolmanagement survey", "school safety investigation", "campus violence trends", totaleight factors. The questionnaire result shows that the situation of the vocationalcampus violence is serious in the three colleges, the harm and the reason of thevocational campus violence is analyzed. The reasons bringing the campus violencecomprise four factors. The first one is the individual reason. The second one is thecollege reason. The third one is the family reason. The forth one is the social reason.Aiming at the reasons, the specificity and the urgency of the vocational collegecampus violence, combining the writer's experience of working for campus securityfor many years, the "non-violence campus" is established from the collegemanagement system perspective. In order to create the management mechanism of the"non-violence campus", an integrated governance system must be established at thecore of the "campus security council", and further the campus serious violence eventemergency pre-document is proposed. Hope this investigation could give thegovernors and the scholars who devote themselves to solving the problem ofvocational campus violence some reference.
