On Application Of Chen-Heqin Teaching Method In Contemporary Kindergartens

Chen-Heqin teaching method is a preschool education theory which has a certain impact on modern education in China. Combining our traditional preschool education theory to abroad modern preschool education theory, it constantly adjusted and improved in practice to the needs of domestic preschool education. It is a kindergarten curriculum teaching system in the same age with Montessori preschool teaching method, Decroly teaching method and American pragmatic preschool teaching method, and it places an important role in the history of preschool education development in China.Unfortunately, since the establishment of The People's Republic of China, affected by the criticism of pragmatic education thoughts, Chen-Heqin teaching method hadn't been paid due attention and thus was long neglected. With in-depth basic education curriculum reform and the promulgation and implementation of "Outline for Kindergarten Education Guide", Chen-Heqin teaching method is again to be respected and valued. How to tap and use its useful elements, and how to combine it to "Outline for Kindergarten Education Guide" is the need for inheriting and carrying forward the tradition of our preschool education and the need for improving the kindergarten curriculum reform at present as well.Considering this, I conduct a statistical analysis to the information and data by doing intensive research to the practical value of Chen-Heqin teaching method and its popularization and application in kindergartens in order to give useful reference to the construction of Chinese preschool teaching method system and provide valuable theoretical guidance to contemporary kindergarten curriculum reform.
