From the view of the broadcasting education and Chinese teaching, this text probes into the certainty that photo-image reading exists in the gentle Chinese education in the image interpreting era, which establishes the right status of photo-image reading of Chinese education, and proposes the implementation tactics of reading teaching of the photo-image in the light of the mistaken idea read to the photo-image in Chinese education. The purpose of photo-image reading is to improve students' overall qualities in an all-round way, and enable student calm, confident and rational.The thesis is divided into six parts. First part, start with the implication and epitaxy of photo-image, photo-image language and the photo-image works, defining the photo-image reading, and making the range of the writing of the text clear. Photo-image reading refers to watching, analyzing, judging and comprehending to the photo-image works (including photo, photographic literature, movie & TV and network photo-image works etc.) of audience in photo-image. Second part expounds the relationship between Chinese and photo-image. The photo-image works are the modernization of the literature text, which means the fact that photo-image reading is the extension of characters reading, and photo-image reading should become the organic component of Chinese education .The third part, from history and realistic angle, giving consideration to people's development and state of Chinese study, expounds the importance of photo-image in Chinese education. The fourth part, for the Chinese education at present especially, analyzes a great deal of mistaken ideas existing in the photo-image reading in the idea and use, in order to correct pointedly in education. The fifth part establishes the right status of photo-image reading in Chinese education: In era of interpreting blueprints, photo-image reading, which is the required course of life, make of the new content of Chinese reading, and it is theeducation content eager to be popularized. The sixth part, on the basis of the characteristic and ability of photo-image reading required, proposes the implement plan of reading teaching of photo-image.
