Along with the development of society, the education of children with special characteristics draws more and more attention from the very society . We have achieved great progress in both the teaching theory and practice. Some of the developed countries already have a comparative long history and gain a lot in the study of education towards those children;however, the study and practice of musical education for the children with special characteristics are just starting to expand. Due to many reasons, the development of education of children with special characteristics is not satisfactory. After the Reform and opening up of China, it has had comparatively great progress, but to the educators and researchers, musical education of those children is still a new field. This project is put forward under the development of education of children with special characteristics, the aim is to find out the problems and their reasons exist in the musical education in Hunan through investigation and analysis of its current situation, to promote the development of theory and practice in the musical education to children with special characteristics. This research has great theoretical and practical significance to the profusion, perfection of special education theory and to the development of musical education towards those children with special characteristics.This paper has three chapters. The first chapter is the theoretical basis of the investigation and research, including the summary of current situation of special musical education, the features of three kinds of children with special characteristics and the significance of musical education. This chapter provides theoretical basis for the design of questionnaire and research methods. Based on chapter one, chapter two investigates the current situation of special musical education in Hunan from whole to parts, analyzes the results and points out many problemsexist at present. We could view the situation of special musical education from the results of such aspects as hardware construction of those schools, training of teachers, contents and methods of musical education. Chapter three is the study of countermeasure. The country's emphasis on special education, self-endeavor of the schools, contact and cooperation with related schools, only if combine all power together that we can have impetus to the development of special musical education.This paper, on the one hand, is through the investigation of this project, to provide information to those researchers and educators who engaged themselves in, enable them to have an overall understanding of the current situation of musical education of children with special characteristics in Hunan, both the achievements and defects, so as to formulate the countermeasure to promote the research and education of musical education;on the other hand, based on the situation of musical education in Hunan, propose a series of constructive and applicable opinions and suggestions to direct the practice. |
