Confucius was an ancient great educator and the builder of mass education. As an educationist, Confucius had succeeded hugely in education. We can find his successes in many ways, at first, he built a whole set of education theory and thinking, in which he formulated detail contents about education instructing. Second, he was the first person who built massive private teaching style in special ways. All those have influenced and inspired our nowadays practice of education. In the Chinese teaching material of middle school ,we had excerpted ((The Analects)) and some materials of Confucius. The editor expected the students could know about Confucius and his theory and practice of education from these materials.In the first and second chapter of this article, we can understand Confucius's practice of teaching from the angle of teaching in this article. In general speaking, his education purpose was "both ability and political integrity". Which nowadays' education emphasize the combine sciences with ideology just inherited it. Confucius proposed publicly "make no social distinctions in teaching" , in his eyes ,everybody could be instructed ,even who had made mistake ,but he could correct. Let bygones be bygones. In the choice of educating content, Confucius obeyed and serviced his achieve of education purposes. His scientific realistic spirit which he never talked about "queer,power,disordered,god"was a flash of ancient native dialectics. Whether Confucius was a "cheap farmer" or not still need to argue. His successful moral education experiences deserved to be learned by our today's teachers. We should critically absorb Confucius's essence of poetry education, courtesy education and music education, and guide nowadays education. Confucius's education principles and methods supplied valuable experience for the present education. His principles and methods mainly expressed in three aspects : "educate someone according to his natural ability"," inspiration", "combination of studying, thinking and performing" . Thinking his teaching practices from the angle of "learning" in the third chapter of this article, Confucius explored a set of effectual studying methods from his whole life's personal experiences and teaching practices. Those methods are valuable heritage to human knowledge history; also give today's students and teachers much greatenlightenment.Confucius has always been praised with his education attitude, personality accomplishment and artistry of education evaluation. We cannot comment him good or bad. In our history Sima Qian of the West Han wrote a biography about Confcius. After that, Confucius had always his unshakable history role in feudal social of 2000 years. His education attitude , considerable personality and education valuation have been praiseworthy in our history .From the last period of Chinese feudal social to modern history, some progressives thought the root of backward tended to Confucianism, and were spearheaded at " No. 2 of the Kong's" .In the Cultural Revolution, Confucius became the main revolutionary target, and was censured a traitor through the ages= We thought Confucius both a great educator and a normal teacher. Certainly his ideology was inevitable limited in some ways, but we could not completely deny his influence because of that, just like "can not splash the baby with dirty water". Only inherited and absorbed his education practices critically, those can guide today's teaching experience, and can play a part as one of educating workers in recovering prosperity of China.
