A project of vital and lasting importance is based on education.The development of education hinges in large measure on constructing a teaching staff with highquality.However, without comprehensive improvement of the teachers' quality in rural schools, it is rather difficult to carry out education for all-round development and advance elementary educational curriculum reform.Therefore, under the background of lifelong education and teachers' specialization, there is no time todelay emphasizing the professional development of in-service teachers. It has even been a project of practical significance to pay close attention to the professional growth of a large number of teachers in rural schools.The research includes four parts.Part One, I bring forward the background of the selected topic and the meaning of the research and definite the conception of "rural schools" and "teachers' self-renewal'M also lay emphasis on a general explanation of the document study in related fields and make an exposition of the method and thought at the same time.Part Two, I laid emphasis on a deep investigation and analysis into the overall condition about the professional development of the teachers of rural schools in Kunshan.I investigated the main circumstances of the teachers of rural schools in Kunshan, the present condition of professional development, the teachers' demand of professional self-development and the schools' main practice in promoting the teachers' professional development.By analysing and thinking about the actual problems existing in the professional development of the teachers of rural schools at present, I presented my view.In the course of the teachers' professional development, their self-development and external intentional promotion are interdependent and the professional development and growth of teachers of rural schools is a joint part with external promotion and internal consciousness.This is what the research really means.Part Three, in the light of reality, taking the case of Kunshan J Middle School, I researched the countermeasure of promoting the self-renewal of teachers of rural schools and achieving the teachers' self-development.lt contains the following contents.First, the principle, aim and contents of the self-renewal of teachers of rural schools.Secondly, analysis of the dynamic factor about the self-renewal of teachers of rural schools.Thirdly, the external mechanism about how to guide the the self-renewal of teachers of rural schools.lt mainly contains: aim-leading mechanism, activity-assisting mechanism and evaluation-encouraging mechanism.Fourthly, Creating the internal mechanism of the self-renewal of teachers of rural schools. It mainly contains: self-evaluating mechanism, self-constructing mechanism and self-development mechanism.Part Four, it is the preliminary conclusion gained in the research.At the sametime,I analysed and discussed the deficiency in the reseach and put forward thedirection of the further research.I hope the research can provide some valuable enlightenment for the construction of the staff of rural schools. |
