With the social transformation and the establishment of market economic system in China, the problem of honesty and credit has aroused great concern in both practical and theoretical field, especially in education region. Based on the individual case, No.3 Middle School of LanZhou Chemical Industrial Company, this paper concretely analyzes the problem of honesty and credit through the method combining practical survey with theoretical analysis, and suggests some primary strategies of improving it.This paper is composed of three parts. The first hackles, analyzes, compares honesty and credit from the sense of tradition and modern, reveals the essence of honesty and credit, and argues both the importance of honesty and credit itself and the significance of honesty and credit education. The second, mainly based on the individual case, No.3 Middle School of Lanzhou Chemical Industrial Company, conducts middle school students' questionnaires to find problems of honesty and credit education from three dimensions: individual degree of honesty and credit, individuals toward environment, and individuals toward society. The third, according to these findings, suggests the strategies how to improve middle school students' honesty and credit, the conclusion of this research. The paper holds that honesty and credit education of middle school students must realize four radical transformations: Rational Transformation, from honesty and credit education to educational honesty and credit; Model Transformation, establishing comprehensive educational system of honesty and credit; Content Transformation, promoting honesty and credit to the level of moral cultivation; Viewpoint Transformation, paying attention to enforcing honesty and credit education in the light of middle school students' development of psychology and world viewpoints.
