"Education decides China's vitalization; while teachers rejuvenate China's education."Teachers play the most important role in the development of vocational education. Teachers'academic promotion is indispensable to the improvement of vocational education's quality. Teacher appraisement gives a fresh impetus to the vocational school teachers'promotion and their academic level. On the basis of the present theory and method of teacher appraisement as well as from the angle of teacher appraisement in vocational schools,the paper has analyzed the existing problems and detected the causes of these problems by surveying and researching the present situation of teacher appraisement in vocational schools. In addition, the paper has discussed the gist and principles of teacher appraisement in vocational schools in China. According to the characteristics of the"double-role teaches"in vocational schools in China, the roles as both engineers and teachers,the paper has demonstrated the contents in the system of teacher appraisement directed by the two dimensions of vocational education rim and teacher development,constructed the frame work of appraisement system,and probed into vocational school teacher operation in detailed examples. Furthermore, the paper has also analyzed the proper methods of vocational school teacher appraisement in the perspective of multi-subjects and multi-methods,including vocational teachers'self-appraisal,student & leader's appraisal, just for the purpose of realizing the aims of vocational education and teachers'positive development.
