Since the twentieth century, Multiple Intelligences Theory (MI Theory) has fullyrevealed its advantages in the education. As a teacher, one should pay more attention to itsnoticeable role. Howard Gardner, contemporary world-famous philosopher and educator,praised as chief scientist who has advanced the American education reform, is famous all overthe world for creating Multiple Intelligences Theory (MI Theory).The seven Intelligences elaborated in his Theory may be different from the kinds ofintelligence from birth for everyone, on almost all human beings, there are severalintelligences combined together to solve problems or producing various, professional andamateur cultural products. As for students, they should develop various kinds of intelligenceand we teachers help the students find their professional and non-professional (或 amateur)hobbies which suit the characteristics of their intelligences. If so, they will be more absorbedin their work and have more competitiveness and will surely serve the society in a moreconstructive way. We ought to fully understand every student's cognitive characteristics andmake them gain the best development.Taking the theory of constructivism as the theory base, enable Chinese languageteachers to give importance to the moral nurture in the Chinese language teaching by meansof reorganizing moral theory and the Chinese language education.
