This article clarified the significance and value of experiment teaching pattern by analysizing the tendency of experiment teaching home and abroad, and investigating the current situations of experiment teaching. But the situation is not optimistic. Looking down upon experiments, the decline of teachers' quality and the inflexibility of teaching patterns are common. The main reasons that cause these are the wrong concept of teachers, the onesided understanding about the functions of experiment, the wrong sense about the relationship between experiment and thought. According to these situations, based on the theory of experiment, the relationship between experiment and thought, the theory of constructive research and teaching and the teaching pattern of question situation. We put forward the mutual physics experiments teaching pattern to fully develop the teaching the students' principal part in "question—operation" This article also clarifies the theoretical base of this teaching pattern, and the author' s research on it. Besides it lists some examples about the "question—operation" physics experiment teaching pattern. By testing and investigating, We also find the experiment teaching pattern is very important in cultivating student' s sense of question, sense of exploration, the sense of overcoming difficulties we come across in doing. It also helps student understand and master the knowledge of experiments and improve students' ability to analyze & solve question.
