Now it's learning society, and education for life is an important international thought. "Teaching students to know how to learn and think"is required increasingly, to adapt the development of society and the curriculum reform, we advocate students to evaluate themselves. If they have good ability of self-evaluation, they can think deeply and have all-around development, and gain benefit in the future. The paper consists of nine parts. The first part puts forward the problem. The second part is literature. It has talked about "self "theory, some learning theory including self-regulated learning and self-monitored learning, and the development of the theory of curriculum evaluation. The third part is the aim and task. The forth is the paper's theory base. The theory includes multiple intelligences and later-modernism as well as principal education, etc. The fifth is the theory of mine. The paper defined the "self-evaluation"and described the feathers of self-evaluation point-by-point. And the factors affecting the students'self-evaluation included exterior factors including family and school environment and inherence factors including meta-cognition and attribution. The sixth part is inventory of the students'self-evaluation in present days, and the author summarizes the characters. Through questionnaire survey, we summarized that the students have the awareness of self-evaluation, but their self-control ability should advance. The seventh part, which is the innovation of the paper, constructs the model of students'self-evaluation in junior chemistry learning. Then the author explains the model in detail, including the aim, the content, the strategies and the environment of students'self-evaluation. First, the students'self-evaluation can be beneficial to improve their principal behavior and all-around development.
