The Challenge That Social Sports Speciality Facing In Shanxi's High School And Countermeasure Research

The social sports speciality was listed as a formal speciality by the Ministry of Education in 1998. Henceforth, it has developed rapidly in our country. By the end of September 2004, the speciality dots of social sports have already developed to 106.The circumstance of the Shanxi province is no exception, There are 5 high schools which has established the speciality of social sports in the short recent 5 years. All the leadership, teachers and the students who are in high schools of Shanxi province that has set up the social sports speciality are all concerning the problems such as, how about it's present condition in Shanxi province? How about it's survival environment? What are the handicaps existing in the development proccess? Which countermeasures should we adopt? None but these problems solved perfectly, the social sports speciality of my province could keep on the development, so that we could cultivated high quantity professional talents of social sports speciality for the country and districts .Using document method, social inquisition method, expert consultation method, statistics method etc. the author studied the present development actuality and survival condition to social sports of high schools in Shanxi province. The result indicate: There are a lot of problems exists in it's development process ,and it is facing to many challenge come from both inside and outside .The challenge that comes from the inner part mainly has: 1.The development speed lead quick, the scale lead greatly, it is run before the economy and society develop level far and far; 2. Service realm of social sports speciality in each high school is similar, the talent type is alike, thereof, the supplementary situation of professional direction hasn't come into being;3.The variegated cultivating pattern has come into being, but some problems still exist in the talent cultivating process, such as the course system is not scientific, the fulfillment of practice (include the speciaity practice) is not enough; 4.The teacher resource is hard to satisfy the need of that...
