Confucius was a Chinese educator in ancient times.His educational ideology, which had been developed by long teaching practices, is helpful to younger generations.In a sense Confucian education amount to Chinese education. Although then there was independent Chinese discipline, nor the concept of "Chinese", "Speech" and "Letters" actually correspond to Chinese education.Revolving around "Speech" and "Letters", Confucius carried out his Chinese teaching and learning.He regarded the Odes, the Books, Li, Yi, Music, Chunqiu, as his textbooks. Therefore, it has full foundations for the researchers of Chinese education afterward that they always bring into Chinese education.Of course, Confucian Chinese education is not purely modern Chinese education, because it merged with Letters, history ideology, economics, etc. Accordingly, we call it large Chinese education.The dissertation contains four parts.The introduction mainly deals with Confucian education, Which actually amount to large Chinese education . With the reformation of Chinese education in the new century, Studying Confucian education ideology can provide us with the important values of reference and enlightenment.The first part mainly deals with the connotations of Confucian Chinese education ideology.The connotations mainly include the view of teachers and students,of teaching and learning, of textbooks, of Speech and Letters.The second part mainly deals with its characters, which primarily include synthetic characters, innovative.characters, practical characters, and dialectical characters.The third one mainly deals with its modern value.It has a important value for the reformation of Chinese education nowadays.The present Chinese reformation should learn from Confucian ideology of Chinese education, that is, we should establish the view of large Chinese education and of revolving around students, call the return of poem teaching, reestablish the Chinese education led by ethics.
