Embodied with the pedagogics of certain curriculum pattern, each curriculum mode possesses specific opinion on curriculum, specific theoretical structure, specific curriculum structure and functions, specific development method and performance. The mode of curriculum is usually the media of the curriculum pattern to develop and design the curriculum. The curriculum mode provides stucture, guide and method of development for the designer of the curriculum, macro-standards and requirement for the implementation of the curriculum and management access for the administration of the curriculum. Taking the overall teaching reformation in the key specialties of the Chinese vocational education institutions as an experimental sample, this dissertation tries to compare the main curriculum mode and its development in the vocational education of China and foreign countries. With the international input of the advantages of different mode of curriculum in vocational education, the so-called DKD mode, which means generalised specialty, wide professional foundation and diversified technics, is specially introduced to the readers in the aspects of characteristics and structure of courses, development method of curriculum, principles of curriculum development and method, the relationship between module and teaching materials, link between modules, synthetical method of curriculum, teaching method, assessment, evaluation and feedback. It is argued that the mode is comparatively easy to manipulate and holds value for further spreading. Achiements of the mode has been seen in the practice of the higher vocational education, secondary vocational education and technical training for the workers.
