Kindergarten Curriculum Design Based On The Theory Of Multiple Intelligences

In 1980s, we just had little knowledge of MI theory. But the theory has shown its roundly and earthshaking impact nowadays. Sharply beyond academic affection, MI theory has already extensively touched the concrete reform process of education in China. MI theory provides curriculum reform in the field of pre-school education with new theory basis, and the reform needs MI theory's guidance. Consequently, MI theory shows much more widely academic visual threshold.As the new concept of educational reform in new age",teaching for MI"and "teaching through MI", the basic viewpoints of MI theory, have already created and are creating new field of pre-school education reform. According to the requirement of kindergarten curriculum reform, the research not only regards MI theory as the academic basis of kindergarten curriculum design and applies MI theory's concepts of intelligence, curriculum, evaluation etc. into the construction of kindergarten curriculum design model but also defined and elaborated the essence, character, feature, constructive elements of the kindergarten curriculum. After that, the article integrated MI with five curriculum fields of kindergarten. Under the direction of kindergarten curriculum design's value and basic principles, the research expounded the general steps of kindergarten curriculum design and then summarized the design model of kindergarten curriculum based on MI theory. Additionally, in the step of curriculum content organization, the article puts forward "double central points"curriculum content organization model, which makes unification of MI and "Multiple knowledge"in the kindergarten curriculum based on MI theory. Although the scope and breadth of the research are very limited,there is no doubt that MI theory brings enlighten and reference for our kindergarten curriculum design.
