Different career actions that people took would cause different psychological reactions, when people were under different career stages. When research of Individual Career Management was carried out, career stages should be taken into consideration. This article worked on the career development of middle-school teachers. Research methods such as literature review, in-depth interview, superior assessment and questionnaire survey were used in the study in order to find the moderation effect of career stages between Individual Career Management and its consequence variables such as Career Commitment and Career Satisfaction. Finding the relations between Individual Career Management, demographic variables and consequence variables was another purpose of this study.The study took the following two stages: Firstly, the primary hypothesis of career stages of middle-school teachers had been formed. Then the hypothesis and characters of each career stages had been proved through in-depth interview with 33 middle school teachers. The vice principles from 5 middle schools were asked to match each teacher to characters of each career stage. Secondly, over 400 middle school teachers were asked to fill in a survey consists of Individual Career Management Questionnaire, Career Commitment Questionnaire and Career Satisfaction Questionnaire. Reliability and validity assessment was conducted with data of 298 valid questionnaires. The result indicated the validity of all questionnaires was quite well and coefficient alpha were 0.904, 0.784 and 0.834, respectively.
