The Exploration On The Consumption Behavior Of The Urban Migrant Workers

The urban migrant workers are a special group of the contemporary city of China, and they are " marginal people " with dual identity and double role. Their consumption condition is the result that socio-economic development and people's question interweave together in transformation period in our country. The urban migrant workers and the laid-off workers are both the social disadvantaged groups, but their culture background are different, so it has comparison between the two groups. Through the comparison of the two groups, it has great meaning for us to understand in depth whether the urban migrant workers consumption behavior have urbanism or not. And it also has realistic significance for the urban migrant workers to adapt and incorporate the urban life better.Many people have studied the problem of the adaptation of the migrant workers and the problem of consumption, but few people do research on the consumption urbanism of the urban migrant workers. Especially, little research touch on the comparison analyzing of the urban migrant workers and the laid-off workers. This article is mainly on the basis of relevant scholar's study on urban migrant workers consumption. Through contrasting the two different groups from rural residents and urban residents, analyze whether the urban migrant worker have urbanism or not.This article is proceeded with statistic data mainly。 Firstly, the first chapter introduces advancing the topic, relevant theory study, the purpose , the meaning and the method of the research. The second chapter mainly analyzes the consumption behavior of the urban migrant workers and the laid-of workers. From the analyses we find that the income of the two group are both lower, but their consumption expenditure, the way of consumption and the consumption concept have discrepancy, then it has a summery of the characters of the two groups. The third chapter mainly analyzes the reason of causing the consumption behavior discrepancy under the macro social background and the micro groups discrepancy.
