With the rapid development of informationizalion of foundational education, applying constructivist learning theory to constructing new instruction model to advance reformation of the content of courses and method and to meet the challenge of information society have already become the inevitable choice for education nowadays.The concept map is a kind of teaching tactics prevailing in American-European countries. It signifies knowledge in the way of ocular image, at the same time it can show thinking process and relation between knowledge and lead student to effective meaning construction. Constructivist learning theory has been long-standing since it came into education. It thinks study is a course of active meaning construction for learner. But, in the subject instruction in primary and secondary schools, how to make use of concept map to help students construct knowledge and how to evaluate this kind of concept map-based instruction are worth studying.It is years since the integration between information technology and curriculum was put forward initially, however, it is facing the awkward situation of "applauding but not attracting a large audience" at present. With the popularization of information technology and constant introduction of the tool software, the concept map has already become one of the effective means of integration between information technology and curriculum.Focusing on how to make use of concept map to construct knowledge in primary and secondary schools, this thesis makes the following research:Defining the concept of concept map and analyzing deeply theoretical foundation of concept map in instruction, at the same time demonstrating that concept map is an effective tool for student to help construct knowledge in theory and in practice; Putting forward a new instruction model------instruction model based on concept mapfor promoting knowledge construction and explaining in details the theoretical foundation, instructional objective, instructional process and instructional evaluation of the instruction model; Comparing all kinds of computer-supporting concept map tools; Designing and implementing a physics teaching case in junior high school, then investigating and analyzing teaching effect to carry out a practical research.
