Content: To meet the needs of implementing Quality Education, especially new curricula innovation in K-12 Education in China, based on the theoretical and practical researches of instruction supported by concept map both domestic and abroad, this thesis attempts to construct, from the perspective of instructional design, a localized theoretical and practical framework of instruction supported by concept map, which is one of the new instructional patterns, with an effort to provide a new effective and practicable approach to reform education & instruction.The introduction of the thesis briefly analyzes the educational background and the development of relevant researches about instruction supported by concept map all around the world, describes the definition and characteristics of the new informatizational instructional patterns, and presents the purpose, significance of this thesis.Chapter one mainly introduces the connotation, theoretical fundamentals of instructional application and instructional functions of concept map, and presents some concept mapping tools.Chapter two, the main body of this research, describes the general approaches and strategies applied in instruction supported by concept map.Chapter three validates the feasibility and validity of instruction supported by concept map through empirical research, and summarizes some principles of the instructional pattern from practice.Conclusion part points out that the instruction supported by concept map accords with "all serves learning", the educational characteristic of new era, and problems and deficiencies remain in this research which need to be further studied and perfected in the future.
