Based on the analysis of the theory on the student study assessment and practice development both here and abroad ,this action research reveals the condition of the students study assessment in the primary school by cooperation with the teachers .The collaborative finds and solves the problem in time, develops and designs the performance assessment ,and forms the strategies of the development .Inside the teachers involving in the research get the professional development .This down-up research provide a new viewpoint to student study assessment research .Some issues will be discussed ,such as what the rule of student study assessment in the primary school is ?what the teachers' attitude to the student study assessment ?how the teachers participate in the reform of the student study assessment ?All above have a strong influence on the assessment reform and provide a basis to research how to build a maturity system of student assessment . The research includes four parts : The first part is theory introduction .The conception of student study assessment and theories of student study assessment both here and abroad are introduced .It shows the experience and trouble of the assessment practice .This part builds a theoretical framework to the action research. The second part is the methodology of the research .It shows the method and design of the whole research .The definition of the problems and the course of the research are introduced in brief .And the validity of the research is discussed . The third part shows the true course of the action research .With the observation in the classroom and interview with the teachers for 3 months in school B, the author find a vivid and real condition of the student study assessment in primary school .The collaborative designs and develops the performance assessment, solves the problem and adopts according to the school reality. The fourth part is the conclusion .Three issues are discussed in this part .The first is the condition of the student study assessment; the second is the strategies of development of performance assessment; the third is teachers professional development in the action research .And the author reflects the whole action research in methodology.
