Study On The Characteristics Of The Migrants To Zhongshan And Their Influence

As a kind of special population phenomenon, the migrants appeared after the beginning of the policy of reform and opening. And they had a significant influence on a region, and absorbed many scholars' attentions. The abroad scholars have made some research on the migrants very early, and put forward many theories. Among them, the " push to pull" theory is famous and guides the research on the migrants at present. The domestic scholars also made many research on the migrants, and put forward many correct viewpoints and theories, among them, the geographers made a great contribution. On the one hand, the migrants have positive influence on economics and society. On the other hand, they also produce some negative influence. Since the beginning of the policy of reform and opening, the economics in Zhongshan have made a great progress, and absorbed a large amount of the migrants. The government and society have different assessments. Therefore it is necessary to assess their influence comprehensively and objectively, and forecast the scale of the migrants. At the base of this, it is also necessary to analyze their proper scale and spatial distribution, and put forward some measures to promote sustainable development in Zhongshan.Chapter 1 is an introduction. This part introduces the background and significance of this paper, relative research and explanation of the research. At the base of analyzing statistical data and field trip, chapter 2 analyzes the migrants' characteristic completely in Zhongshan. Chapter 3 emphasizes the migrants' spatial distribution and its spatial effect. Firstly, the paper analyzes the historical development of the migrants and their changes in Zhongshan at this part. Secondly, the paper analyzes the spatial distribution of social and economic characteristics of migrants. Finally, after analyzing the spatial distributing of registered permanent residence population, the migrants and total population, the paper summarizes the effect of spatial distribution of the migrants. At the base of some theories, chapter 4 analyzes the mechanism of driving forces and the causes of formation of the migrants in Zhongshan. From the positive and negative aspects, chapter 5 analyzes the social and economical influence of the migrants. The paper thinks the positive influence of the migrants is greater than their negative influence on the whole. Chapter 6 forecast the scale of the migrants and their proper scale in the future through some mathematical models and methods. Chapter 7 puts emphasis on the supervision measure of the migrants in Zhongshan.
