| In the reform of basic education course, the textbook plays a vital role, determines the teaching and studying processes, and greatly influences teaching quality .The thesis is devoted to evaluating its compilation and operation of history textbook for Junior 2 through a case study of them in the light of Obligatory Education Curriculum Standards.By adopting both literature review and investigation, the thesis carries out a deep analysis and evaluation of the experimental history textbook from two aspects: One is to analyze the textbook and some relevant materials; The second is to make a survey of the operation of the textbook from the perspective of teachers, students and class teaching. Based on the above, the thesis naturally draws such a conclusion that the compilation is effective and successful and moreover is popular with the teachers and students. However, some incompleteness shouldn't be neglected. Considering the problems arousing during the course of operation, the study puts forwards some countermeasures as follows: to improve the experimental history textbook by referring to some other editions like the editions of Beijing Normal University and East China Normal University; to set up the Junior history textbook system centering on textbooks; to enlarge the school educational investment by the government so as to improve teaching conditions; to strengthen the training of teachers to the new curriculum and textbook; to lay more stress on history and the pertinent publicizing action. This is exactly the unique point of the thesis. |
