| Confronted with international competition and technological challenge in the 21th century, our country put forward the strategic decision of "constructing some world top-ranking universities in China". Under the direction of this decision, many Chinese universities strive toward constructing world top-ranking universities, and they have drawn some programs to achieve the goal. Curriculum construction is a very important part for the development and reform of a university. Currently, the tremendously urgent strategic task for Chinese key universities is striding forward world top-ranking universities through curriculum internationalization. The thesis studies the theory and practice of curriculum internationalization based on a great deal of literatures and investigations. In the theoretical part, the thesis discusses some conception related with curriculum internationalization, and analyzes the theoretical basis of curriculum internationalization from three aspects, which can make us definitely realize the meaning and value of curriculum internationalization inwardly and theoretically. Multicultural theory makes curriculum contents rich and colorful; universal knowledge theory makes the import and export of curricula and knowledge possible; a post-modern perspective on curriculum requires the construction of curricular with an open mind.In the second part, the thesis analyzes practical problems of Chinese key universities' curriculum internationalization from three aspects, that is, the status quo of Chinese key universities' curriculum internationalization, the existent problems in curriculum internationalization and the way of advance curriculum internationalization. In the first aspect, the author probes into the motivation of Chinese key universities' curriculum internationalization, explicitly puts forward that curriculum internationalization can be classified into introversive and extroversive patterns, the former being the main pattern in Chinese universities; summarizes three methods of curriculum internationalization, namely, infusing method, setting-up method, and action method; sums up the main measures of Chinese key universities' curriculum internationalization. Based on the status quo, the author analyzes the problems existing in Chinese key universities' curriculum internationalization, and puts forward seven constructive opinions for Chinese key universities' curriculum internationalization. |
