On the new condition of western development and urbanization of rural areas, it is an important task of western rural educational work to strengthen the reform and development in western rural senior vocational middle school. Thus to establish which training objectives of western rural senior vocational middle school, is the first and foremost problem to solve during the course of reforming and developing western rural senior vocational middle school. Only to know clearly the training objectives of western rural senior vocational middle school, can it effectively guide the local area to run senior vocational middle schools, to adjust and control their objectives, and to evaluate their quality. But at present our academic circle's studies on these problems are quite weak, which is the reason that I choose the training objectives of western rural vocational education in our country and related problems as my study subject. In the dissertation, I look back the developing course of senior vocational middle school's training objectives in our country, and analyze existing problems in western rural senior vocational middle school with the approach of case study. On the basis, I put forward a series of countermeasures and projects for adjusting the training objectives of western rural senior vocational middle school, in order to provide some helpful thinking for our rural educational current comprehensive reformation.The dissertation can be divided into six parts:In the first part, an introduction mainly gives the object, reasons, and actualities ofthe study, and then states my thoughts and basic methods for the study.In the second part, a historic study briefly dissertates the developing course of the training objectives of vocational middle school since the foundation of the PRC, especially the course of senior vocational middle school's training objectives since the late 1970's. The developing rule also is analyzed in this part.The third part is the study of current problems. Taking Leshan City, Sichuan Province as a case study, I analyze existing problems in the training objectives of western rural senior vocational middle school from three angles of recognition, adaptation and feasibility of the training objectives of western rural senior vocational middle school.The fourth part illustrates the theory and basis of adjusting the training objectives of western rural senior vocational middle school hi our country.The fifth part expounds the countermeasures and projects for adjusting the training objectives of western rural senior vocational middle school. From the idea of multiplex values orienting, I mink western rural senior vocational middle school should establish multiplex training objectives according to their own economic and social developing situations.The last part is an epilogue, in which I summarize shortcomings of the study and point out new directions of improvement henceforth.
