Analysis Of Competitive Weight In NSFC On The Part Of Institutions Of Higher Education In Shanxi

This paper consists of four chapters, with its study focused on the background and implication, the funding of national natural science as well as cause-analysis, discussion plus suggestions.In Chapter One, an introduction is given about the fund system of natural science and the function of Natural science Foundation Committee (NSFC). As the main funding channel of basic research, NSFC is of great importance to institutions of higher education, those in Shanxi included.In Chapter Two and Three, an analysis is made based on the contrast between programs supported by NSFC in the institutions of higher education of Shanxi daring the five years; a comparison is made in the scientific and technological resources between Shanxi and other parts of the country. The actual cause is explored as to the lack of competitive weight in NSFC on the part of Shanxi's institutions of higher education.In Chapter Four, directed at the present conditions of Shanxi's institutions of higher education suggestions and steps are presented in terms of macro-regulation and micro-supervision.The Conclusion offers a comprehensive summary of the whole paper.
