| I The opportunities and challenges which college students' work of ideological politics face in the new period.Our country is placed in the storming stage of reform and key period of development. With establishing and perfecting the system of socialist market economy, "Diversification" appearing in social life becomes increasingly obvious which will irrevocably have a deep impact on each social member including college students. It brings to them not only new developing opportunities but also serious problems and challenges on their work of ideological politics. All things bring new challenges to college students' thinking and political work that include its own weak links as well as socialist reform practices, profound changes of international environment and world structure, the "Westernization" and "Disintegration" strategy which the western hospital power carried out on us. Moreover, the development and wide application of internet techniques have brought a brand-new change and spreading to the means, way, condition and even concept of value of universities' thought education. So it has become an urgent and significant strategic task which universities face in the new situation to know correctly and improve students' thought and political work. II The current college students' problem and the analysis of their reasons on ideological politics.Firstly, it is the pluralism of college student's value preference. Most college students are active on value preference, while the minority have some passive ideas of no idea, serious individualism, belief crisis and scanty spirit pursue.Reasons of the problem are mainly:1.The globalization of world economy affects deeply the social environment and people's mind, which produces plural concept of value in the society, so college students inevitably have plural value preference; 2. The speed of social reform has surpassed people's sustaining ability of psychology, which confuses college students' concept of value; 3.The innovation of Marxism theories themselves is not enough to become people's inner faith; 4. The "two lessons" education can't give a full play to direct the students' thoughts.Secondly, it is the problem of college students' lack of sincerity. In the college campus, we must make up lessons for the problem of sincerity, because we have many bad phenomena such as cheating in examinations, homework, graduation thesis, copying in practical reports, and being behind with the tuition on purpose. Its reasons are on one hand: the moral standard was descending in our transformation period, which makes serious immoral phenomena; on the other hand, defects of facing-examination education have influences on it.Thirdly, it is the problem of college students' mental health. It includes study anxiety, apprehension of contacting with others, emotional embarrassment, sex constraint, employment pressure, individual disorder and mental barrier of special students'. All these are caused by the situation that our social environment, family environment, atmosphere of the university, learning, class, and dormitory, and activities of community in the period of transformation from planned economy to marked economy. Meanwhile, the sex education in colleges can't catch up with the age.Fourthly, the problem of crimes among college students. Since 1990s, it has aroused a universally social attention that college students commit crimes from stealing, fighting, murdering, raping and so on. Although it is a social problem, at the same time, we educators can't disregard it. Analyzing the crimes of college students, we can understand its reasons are student's mental learning, successive hedoism thoughts of reprisals and self-center.Lastly, it is the problem of network morals. As the main users of internet, college students will have many ethical problems relating with it such as telling lies, encroaching upon others' privacy, attacking others out of malice, sending out false messages, creating and spreading compute... |
