Learn Communicating--A Research On English Teaching Mode

Communicative persons who are of high qualities are badly needed because of globalization. All of the persons are educated by teachers, so we must pay special attention to improving students' communication ability. However, many English teachers don't realize the importance .After I have studied some advanced theories and methods of language teaching in the world, I created a new English teaching mode according to the characteristic of students' learning languages, which offered a relaxing atmosphere where students can communicate mutually freely in English. Thus, students can use English instead of just learning some English words and grammar. The procedures are as follows:1. Make textbooks alive: In this process, we should turn abstract contents into meaningful words which are related to students' life. Only in this way can students begin to interest themselves in English.2. Create atmosphere: In teaching English, we should put the words and grammar from textbooks into different true situations related to students, where students are eager to communicate with their partners.3. Carry on activities: It's the most important part. If students are very active in activities, it will be natural for them to communicate with each other in English.Some points should be paid attention to: 1. the relationship between teacher and student; 2. teaching and learning strategies 3. assessing.
